04. 1976 -2016 Memoirs of Gibraltar

During my service in the Royal Navy I was drafted to Gibraltar and served at H.M.S. Rooke. After spending years at sea it was a lovely experience to have a foreign-accompanied posting wth my wife and family; our youngest daughter was born at the Royal Naval Hospital on the Rock and was registered in the same office where John Lennon married Yoko.

Recently I completed writing my memoirs of Gibraltar, a collection of anecdotes and stories called RockHeart which cover my wonderful forty years relationship with the Rock.  At the moment I’m still editing the site as chronologically it’s all back to front but if you want to have a look you’re very welcome. Hopefully this link will take you there if you click on it or copy and paste it into your browser:
