Learning a new language

Along life’s road as we travel this earth we meet people from different lands and often try to learn a few words of their language, you know the ones: hello, please, thank you.

I’ve never thought it any different when spending time with my little people; some of the most profound conversations I’ve ever had have been with my grandchildren who gurgle and bubble away at me to explain their thoughts, their feelings, their needs.

I don’t remember exactly what this conversation was about as my grand daughter Snowdrop and I spent time in my garden, but that doesn’t matter really. The memory of the occasion is what is priceless.
