A poppy for your thoughts

It’s the simple poppy that represents so much, so powerfully.

As with many ex-servicemen and service-women I lost friends and colleagues during conflict and it is only by the grace of God that I wasn’t one of the chosen.

This week, leading up to Remembrance Sunday my thoughts are with the families who have lost loved ones, or have family members or friends serving in the armed forces all over the world in the name of peace and liberty. Those of us fortunate enough to live in a safe environment, able to live as we choose with whomever we choose and worship as we want to are truly indebted.
