The child inside

When I was a child I remember my first automatic response to being caught out doing something I shouldn’t was ‘it wasn’t me’. Today’s generation of little people strive to be a little cooler than then with their gestures and deliberate abbreviating but their responses are exactly the same. I love it that they think they are a unique species and that adults were never children themselves. What they have still to learn is that adults may have grown up on the outside but are always children on the inside 🙂
