Sometimes nothing else matters

Arrived safely in Wales very tired after about seven hours on the road. I paced the journey slowly to put no pressure on the old bones. Despite being exhausted I spent time with my excited little granddaughter Snowdrop; she’d waited so patiently for our arrival and I couldn’t not. We took Mowgli for a walk to the end of the breakwater with the sun blazing and a wicked cold wind blowing us almost into the sea. It took me back 20 years to when I did similar things with my first granddaughter Bubbles. Thank you Lord for blessing me so; today you leave me with not a worry in the world and a clarity in what really matters x
