Today I finally left the children’s home I have been working at for the past three years which, because I dislike saying goodbye, simply meant that I slipped gracefully out of the door. There’s no doubt there are a lot of people I will miss, particularly the children, but at the end of the day I guess when fate decrees I accept the inevitable.
To any former colleagues who hap to pass my way via my website I hope they remember the good times…and I’ll see you on the other side x Alan
Good luck with the next part of your career.

Thank you Brian. In the autumn of my career hopefully this last 18 months will be enjoyable,; either way I will be recording it here as usual. I hope life for you in the North East is good (and not too chilly yet). Alan

Life is good – but it certainly is too chilly. Anyone venturing into Saltwell Park this weekend will need a few layers of woolies.
