A new lease of life for 30 year old artwork…

I’ve finally found some time to start editing and cleaning up a cartoon strip I published in the press during the eighties; it’s something I’ve wanted to do for some time but as the original artwork is over 30 years old I’ve put off doing it (for years). Currently I’ve found about 200 of the original strips (there’s more in the archive but I’m not going there yet) and have opened a new page here on my website for them. Although some of the artwork is a little faded I hope the humour still shines through and brings a few smiles.

The strips tell the story of a happy-go-lucky tramp and his friends who live in the bins up a back alley and their daily quest for survival. Currently I’ve uploaded the first ten strips and will continue uploading as I find the time. If you’d like to follow the tale of my little tramp just click on the page ‘JL..Against All Odds’.
