I once asked him for a line for a song I was writing for children and I treasure the Tweet he sent me on Twitter “Gods counting on you, Gods counting on me”. Such a wonderful man of the people.
I was a child of the sixties and lived in L.A. during the rebellious hippie times.
He was a God back then and everything he touched turned to gold.
What a legacy he has left for us to always keep him in our hearts.
He gave us more than we will ever know~

A fabulous legacy and my favourite (among many) must be “We shall overcome”. It’s a song I love hear, love to sing and even love to read the lyrics.
