I’m in Cardiff for a couple of days doing my Facilitator’s Licence course; it’s the last thing I need to do before I’m let loose in Pembrokeshire to deliver Parenting Support Programmes to families who need that support. It’s the start of a process that lasts till the end of November when I return to Cardiff for the final residential part.
The course today as been stimulating and enjoyable (not to mention the fantastic lunch) although I’m really tired now as I had to get up early this morning to get here on time. Tomorrow is day two and involves doing a presentation which I’m a bit nervous about but then so are the other students so I’m not going to fret.
On the bright side my employer has holed me up in the Premier Inn which is really very luxurious. As soon as I walked in I spotted the bath and jumped straight in for a long soak. Later the four of us from our organisation are walking over the car park to the pub next door for a free dinner before having an early night. Looking forward to that.
