Chill time is a-comin’.

Today and tomorrow are really busy days for me as they are the last days before I start my 11 days leave (Hooray). Today I have two home visits to see two families in Pembrokeshire and then I’m giving a presentation to the Community Paediatric Team on our Parenting courses. Tomorrow is National Play Day and I’ll be doing a music workshop with children who will be making their own musical instruments; afterwards we will all perform on the stage. It doesn’t seem much when I write it down but I’m still quite stressed that it all goes well. I think what is adding to the stress is that it’s pouring with rain and I’m worried it will spoil the Play Day.

Anyway, one way or another we will hopefully get to Thursday when I start my leave; two very old friends arrive that day from Nottingham to stay for a week and I’m really looking forward to that. Chill time is a-comin’.

It’s the dentist tomorrow

Today has been really relaxing. I’ve spent most of it with my beloved Mowgli who seems under the weather and quite low. I think he is missing the stimulation and freedom he had on our recent trip to Wales. He’s not bothered about walks and is eating very little so I’m keeping a close eye on him in case something more sinister is going on. I pray not.
Out in the garden I’ve planted a bed of dahlias which should be up sometime in August I would think. It was so sunny in the garden that I also managed to base a painting I have promised for some friends by June 1st.
All told I’ve had a really chilled day which finished with me winning an item I bid on on eBay. I’m glad it’s been so nice because tomorrow I have the dentist 😦

Finally looking forward to Christmas

My first day off and Im loving it. Even though Ive spent hours in grocery stores buying bags and bags of shopping. Actually the shopping was the easy part it was the queues to the pay desks and finding somewhere to park my car that were a real pain. And the driving rain didnt help.

Anyways Im finally home with my feet up and have a roaring fire on which is lovely. I finally feel that I can now slow down and chill a little.

My internet is still not at its best and so Ive written this post on my phone because Id rather do that than not say hello. Ive been so busy lately I cant remember if I had wished my readers Merry Christmas and said thank you for supporting me in my writings. I really do appreciate everyone who calls in, makes a comment or clicks the ‘like’ button. Sincere thanks. I hope your preparations for Christmas are going well and that you have lote of friends and family around you. Xxx
