Like a tree but with the fruit on the inside

The title of this painting was inspired by a friend who described me as being like a tree, but with the fruit on the inside. Although I wasn’t sure what he meant by it he assured me it was a compliment. I’d given him a painting of two turtles as a wedding gift as he and his bride loved them.
