Pub Singer

Pastel sketch from 1980s when I worked as a Pub Singer. Performing in a bar in Hyson Green, Nottingham, I was part way through my rendition of Bob Dylan’s ‘Times are a-changing’ when the cops raided the place. As the ladies of the night quickly dispersed, packets of powder were thrown out of the windows and someoneone was stabbed. As the hoo-hah eventually died down the landlady said: “Same time next week Alan?”
