Sad but true. Having worked in Adult Social Care for many years I have seen the failings first hand.

It’s a sad indictment Jackie that all these years later services are even worse than they were. Back then I worked in adult services too although my last 12 years were in children’s services. Within both I often felt there was a gross waste of money as political parties changed and one side just tried to out do the other by cancelling initiatives to introduce their own. To me it was all about political egos from top heavy management.
