Supporting improvements of ‘Services to People’.

Back in 1990 I was asked to create a set of overhead stills to be used as training aids for staff working with people with learning disabilities. At that time I created a lot of similar work for local authorities because they felt staff took more notice, and absorbed more information, if it was illustrated in a humourous way.

Although such corporate art is not my favourite pastime, I did see the benefits in terms of supporting staff to understand future plans of their organisations and the political and financial challenges interfering with progress. Although these stills may appear boringly complex in their content, I have included them in my collection largely for the art as I often use previously concepted ideas again.
