Another of several little sketches I made while living in India working as a musician. This little man has a place of importance in my story as at one particular venue he was a regular visitor.
Among the hotels I performed at was the Taj Exotica in South Goa. My stage was at their outdoor restaurant called the Lobster Shack and habitually whenever I opened my mouth to sing he jumped into it and I had to spit him out. An odd story I know but true. I later discovered he was attracted to me by my white shirt and so afterwards I wore coloured shirts and never had a problem after that although have to admit those gigs were never the same. Truth be told, I missed him!
