At the moment I’m not uploading a lot of art as I’m editing some of my old songs but I came across this which made me smile.
I was in Fishguard, Wales, on holiday and was asked to do a gig at short notice in the The Globe pub. Appears the Country and Western band was thrown out by the crowd as they were deemed naff!
I agreed to do an acoustic set and when I arrived the ‘crowd’ turned out to be a pub full of hairy bikers. Half way through Bob Dylan’s ‘Times are a-changing’ the leader of said crowd dropped his pants in front of me. Thinking my fate was to be the same as my predecessors I feared the worst. Turned out not so; it was their way of giving the performer a salute and it turned out to be a brilliant night!
