A game I made for a child on the autistic spectrum.

The child had difficulty managing feelings connected to sadness, anger, boredom and tiredness and so life was a struggle and very challenging for the parents.

I initially engaged using strings of beads and then after 8 months of playing this game, the child was so chilled we laughed out loud at a lego-jelly birthday cake we made, and often cleaned out the guinea pigs together. The change in the child could never be under estimated in terms of improving the quality of life.

I still have the lovely letter from the parents who had previously been pulling their hair out at coping with the child’s aggression.
