A short story and a couple of poems.

For some years, as well as writing songs and drawing pictures, I’ve been engaged on a degree course; it’s something I do ‘as-and-when’ and this year I’m working on my 5th (out of 6) module. The module is an Advanced Creative Writing course and my chosen genre is life writing, which supports a personal memoir I’ve been working on for many years.

Although I cannot publish any short stories or poetry from my current course until after it has finished I do upload work from previous writing courses here on my website. Today I’ve uploaded another short story (an autobiographical memoir) called ‘Safe hands’ which you can read here if you wish at https://spailpinfanac.com/short-story-safe-hands/ . I have also added two more poems to my poetry page at https://spailpinfanac.com/poetry/ .

As I progress through the year I may not upload as much work as I normally do due to working on my course although I will touch base as-and-when I can. Meanwhile thank you as always for supporting my website, my music, my art and my writings; it means a great deal to me. Alan.
