Every week when I drive to Seaham I get stopped at the traffic lights in Fencehouses and there’s a little old lady waving at me. Never worked out whether she does it to everybody or if she’s just trying to tell me I’ve got a light out but something about it is very endearing.
I do always wave back at her and have sometimes mooted pulling over for a natter but have sort of enjoyed the mystery of not knowing.
Meanwhile thought I’d immortalise her into my portfolio with a little pen sketch. (Might even put the original in an envelope and pass it to her through the van window to her 🤣)
